Attack Templates
Attack templates are the building blocks of a security scan. Each template defines a specific adversarial scenario — the task, the payload, the environment, and what signals to look for.
How Templates Work

- Templates are loaded from YAML files by the
AttackRegistry
- The
AttackPlanner selects templates based on scan config and agent capabilities
- Each template is instantiated into an
Attack with resolved parameters
- The
Scanner selects a base environment profile matching the agent's tools (via select_environment_profile), then the AttackExecutor calls env_builder.build_for_attack(attack) to merge the template's environment_setup into an isolated per-attack environment with canary tokens
- The
AttackExecutor runs the agent in that environment and attaches it to the AgentTrace
